I have worked most of my Academic Work career (14 years!) within operations. I started as a Staffing and Recruitment Assistant in our Stockholm North office when I was still studying Human Resources at Uppsala University. 

When I was finished with my studies I started as a Consultant Manager, I went on working six years in the CM role parallel I also had roles such as SRA Manager and also Team Manager. 

After those operational years I was eager to try something more on the specialist side and started working for Group as a Group Operations Specialist. I worked very closely with all our countries and also with IT during this time as I did many projects implementing new systems in our organization and worked a lot with Best Practice reviews to understand how we work in the different countries and how we can improve our processes. 

After two years at Group I got to try my wings internationally and worked one year in Finland as our Head of Operations, a dream come true personally to also work abroad for Academic Work. 

And finally, after that year I applied for the Branch Manager role in Hamburg, where I am still working today. In my BM role I manage the BM team in Hamburg and work both operationally and strategically to ensure best possible success for our branch results. The move to Germany has also been a great opportunity for my personal life as I got the chance to make an international adventure with my family whom I live with here in Hamburg.
